The great artist Pablo Picasso once said that “the purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.” CAM seeks to highlight the beauty and creativity of children all over the United States of America, regardless of their surroundings and whether that child may or may not be poor, a refugee or even an orphan. CAM highlights the potential of all of these children.
While this is our inaugural contest, in the future we hope to develop programs to encourage and promote the work of poor and disabled child artists. For now, we will merely showcase their spirit and creativity.
The Competition consists of one stage:
Stage 1 – every child can participate to compete for the position as the member of MY COUNTRY ART TEAM. Up to 50 artworks from United States of America with highest voting score will become members of MY COUNTRY ART TEAM to participate in World Art Championship 2017 at the website www.globalopenart.org for the winning prize, the title ART Country of the year, GOA 2017 National TEAM.
